On March 2nd, Volcom held their Totally Crustaceous Tour - Catfish Series contest at Domes Beach in Rincon, Puerto Rico. My family and I have been staying in Aguadilla, PR for the past month (more posts to come on that). The contest was delayed a day due to small waves, so I got a chance to hang out with some friends - Kyle Tester (Cape May, NJ) and Andrew Rose (Barbados). Thanks to Scott Tester who let us crash at his place the day before the contest in Rincon!

As usual, the Volcom crew put on a really fun event. Thanks so much guys! Unfortunately, the waves were small, but it was a fun day. At the contest, I spent some time with previous ESA All-Stars (Shane Burn and Jazmine Dean) and competed with a 2014 All-Star Noah Dovin.

I finished fourth out of 30 groms. I wish I had done better in the final, but I was the only East Coast grom to win his semifinal heat and advance directly to the Final. Congrats to Max from the Dominican Republic who won the Grom Division!
